I am the founding director of Investment Quorum and am responsible for its strategic direction. The business was formed to bring strong financial planning and context to the lives of private clients. I am a Chartered Wealth manager and amongst other awards I am proud to have been recognised in the definitive Spear’s Wealth Management Index as one of the top ten wealth managers in the UK.
I am a passionate advocate of true client focused wealth management at the completely different end of the spectrum from that typically found in larger organisations. This personalised advice style has led to great demand for expert comment on wealth and investment matters in the press and now also regularly on TV.

As Director Private Clients at Investment Quorum I focus on assisting clients with their personalised financial planning based upon their goals and objectives. My aim is to inspire clients to achieve financial independence.
In common with everyone at Investment Quorum I am continually striving to achieve and demonstrate the highest possible standards in our industry.
My passions extend to charity work where, together with my husband, I support projects targeting underprivileged children in Sierra Leone.
Chief Investment Officer
I am the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, Director and an investment committee member. Prior to joining Investment Quorum I worked for Morgan Stanley Quilter and spent thirty years at Cazenove latterly working as an Investment Director for Cazenove Fund Management Limited and the fund manager for the Cazenove Global Equity Fund.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and am regularly sought for expert opinion by the investment press. I was included in the Citywire Wealth Managers ‘Nifty Fifty’ list in 2012.
Client Liaison Director
I entered the industry in 1972, working for Lloyds life before moving to Halifax in 1985. It was here that I first met Petronella and Lee and this was the beginning of our long term working relationship. After leaving Halifax in 2000, and a brief move to Network Data I reunited with Petronella and Lee at the newly formed investment Quorum. I am still here many years later and although my role is at times challenging I still derive great satisfaction from delivering the highest of service standards to our clients.
I have over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, 16 spent working for a major retail bank, the last 7 of which were as branch manager in a number of branches. I have been with IQ for 10 years, originally working with as part of the discretionary services team as well as providing support to the directors and subsequently securing the role of Operations Director. I enjoy working as part of a small, effective team where we take great pride in our high level of customer service.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, films, cooking and have recently taken up running again.
I was educated at Universities in Glasgow and Birmingham. My business career is anchored in the Petrochemical Sector and my roles centred on Executive, Commercial and Real Estate functions.
In 1986 attracted to the City of London I joined Pacific Hoare Govett and followed on to enjoy senior positions in Corporate Real Estate and Services with Hill Samuel Bank, Union Bank of Switzerland and Deutsche Bank.
In 2001 I established an independent consulting business and have appointments as a board member of several companies.
I joined the board of Investment Quorum in 2002 attracted by its dynamically growing reputation.
Chartered Tax Adviser
Having joined Inland Revenue in 1982, I then joined a national accountancy firm in 1985, subsequently working for various firms until, in 2003, I set up my own firm offering a private client service specialising in Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax issues. I am very involved as a consultant to Investment Quorum with their clients as a Chartered Tax Adviser giving all manner of tax advice and support.
I am the Practice Accountant and work closely with the Board ensuring compliant financial operations and that budgets and financial reporting is accurate, up to date and available to the Auditors when required.
I have been working with Investment Quorum almost since the company formed and really like working with the team. They work extremely hard on behalf of their clients but always seem to find time to have a little fun outside work too.
Chartered Financial Planner MSc MCSI
I joined Investment Quorum in 2013, having spent the prior nine years working in global equity markets, both in London and Hong Kong.
Areas of expertise cover: investment advice and tax planning for private clients and trustees, estate and trust planning, retirement planning and pension advice, individual and corporate protection.
I am the chief investment officer’s investment assistant helping him in the implementation of our internal investment process, portfolio construction, and fund selection. Having initially graduated from the University of Stirling, I went onto work for Old Mutual Wealth. I worked in a variety of operational roles within the company over a 7 year period before moving to London in 2014.
I joined IQ in November 2014 and initially worked as part of the Operations Team. I enjoy working within a small team with a real passion for delivering excellent customer service to all our clients
In my personal time I enjoy reading and keeping fit.
Following my time at Sussex University studying contemporary music, I have worked in a variety of roles within Financial and Tech companies including LinkedIn.
I joined Investment Quorum in September 2014 and work with the CEO within our client care and marketing activities. My key responsibilities within Investment Quorum are managing Lee’s busy appointment schedule and client event calendar as well as our social media activities.
Out of the office, I enjoy spending time volunteering at the local dog rescue centre.
After graduating from Exeter University in 2012, I worked in the wine industry for two years, managing retail stores. I joined IQ in November 2014 as an Intern before spending six months working in the Operations Team. I have now been given the opportunity to become a Trainee Wealth Manager. I am greatly looking forward to working closely with the other advisers and learning from them as I also study for the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in order to start assisting clients myself.
Outside of work I enjoy playing tennis, football and golf and still have a passion for wine.
Operations Team Administrator
I had been working as an IT recruiter for over 4.5 years, specialising in sourcing high level professionals for the financial sector when I decided to search for my own great opportunity in the industry, which led me to Investment Quorum.
Even though I have only been working for IQ since mid-July 2016 I already feel a part of the furniture due to the team being so welcoming and helpful. I am confident that with so many years of experience between the Operations and Advisor teams that I am in the best possible place to learn all I can about Wealth Management.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit via the gym, yoga and running
Operations Team Administrator
I joined Investment Quorum in September 2016 after leaving the NHS after 10 years in different administrative roles. My time in the NHS has instilled in me a great sense of patient/client focus which I’m certain will be utilised greatly at Investment Quorum.
Being a part of the ops team every day is different and there is always something new to be learned. The whole Investment Quorum team have been very welcoming and I am looking forward to my future with the company.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the cinema and baking.
Operations Team Administrator
I joined the Operations Team in January 2016 after two and a half years working in retail banking, during which time I graduated from Middlesex University in Criminology. At Investment Quorum we put our clients in the heart of everything we do, and this is just one of the reasons why I enjoy being a part of the Operations Team. There is always something new to learn and we all support each other to be the best that we can be.
I recently became a mother and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, going to the cinema and writing.
